I'm back
Yes well the recession hit me hard and I lost my contract (job).
Sold my 2001 ZRX1200S to pay the rent and was bikeless for a while there.

Just cant live without riding so I have bought a temporary bike just for the meantime, an old Honda CBR1000F. Its a bit heavy but it still goes good.

Hope to see you out there on the roads soon...........

Easy don't put rego on it and trailer it to the spot like my mates do Smile

damm i thought you knew! Surprised
just like Tom said, why would I ride a dirtbike on a tarmac and having to pay rego.

Also hiring a trailbike is pretty cheap, we were talking to do group hire/tour for those keen on trying.
Camelracer got experience on this, he does bush patrol for RFS on a trailie.

yeh but that ads to the hassle of having to trailer it everywhere...

im lisenced and regoed so i can tell the authorities to go and get fooked wherever i am (except for anywhere illegal)

i have thought about other forms of rego but so far what i have found is not suitable...

Hey Ed

Yeah you should check out renting a house instead of a hotel room for the same cost and you end up saving money

there are heaps of houses to choose from
cheaper ones a block back from the beach and expensive ones right on the beach front
but you end up paying the same as a 4-5 star hotel
approx $1100 for a weeks accomadation
but a house is so much better, I mean you can have a bbq out the back in the garden - cant do that in a hotel with a tiny balconey
the house has 3 bedrooms so you can have guests over for dinner, drinks and to stay the night
you can also do your own washing (with a laundry and washing machine) saving you money and full kitchen facilities means you can cook when you get sick of eating out at restaurants.
