G'day, just signed up to this forum to hopefully find a few people or group suggestions to go riding with. I'm from the sutherland shire so anyone around the area, would love to here from you! I'm Andy by the way and I ride a Kawasaki at the moment. Getting unrestricted licence in a few months so that will most certainly change then.

Welcome Andy. Can't be sure of who lives your way, but there are many rides south, usually leaving from McDonalds Heathcote with the next on Anzac Day to Robertson Pie shop. Check details in the group ride section. Questions? Just ask.

Ah ok thanks for the reply Ed. So would I just rock up on the day and start mingling if I were to go on Anzac Day?

Welcome Andy  cheers

You'll soon realise that where you live in Sydney becomes irrelevant. Simply keep an eye out for rides you'd like to do and come on down  What a Face

The overnighters we do throughout the year are ..... Well .... Very "special" to say the least  drunken
Be sure to keep an eye out for those.

Thanks Chuck or Cath. Would just like to meet a few people here and there before rocking up alone to one of these rides to avoid too much initial awkwardness I guess.

Welcome Andy.

Don't worry, I've been 'rocking up' to these rides for 6 years & it's still awkward!!

But that might just be me?  Embarassed

Feel free to show up at any meeting point & if you feel uncomfortable, you don't have to join the ride. We have all sorts of people in our group. Some could even pass as human, while at the other end of the spectrum there's the "Special" group. (They're the ones that usually organise overnighters  Wink ) (& ride Triumphs)
You're sure to fit in somewhere! Especially as you ride the coolest brand around. (Just don't paint it PINK!!)

Hi Andy,

I'm from The Shire mate and also relatively new here, but have already joined the guys on 2 trips and it's been awesome. A very friendly bunch indeed and will make you feel welcome straight away.

Now, making it to the usual meeting point at Maccas M7 is a trip by itself from our lovely place, so plenty of riding to do heading there and coming back Smile

Looking forward to the next one and if you are keen, we can head there and come back together.

Welcome aboard.
