PostSubject: A new Ninja   Tue Jan 21 2014, 21:29

Hi all,

I'm riding a 2013 Ninja, first bike. Loving it. Been commuting/riding for nearly 7 months now.

I have started exploring some of the beautiful rides we're lucky to have in N.S.W. and in particular the greater Sydney region. Old Road is beautiful. Barrenjoey Road down to Palm Beach. Stunning. After a friend (from the Ulysses club) took me on the River Road (Fwoah!) I thought to myself. I need to find some more of these rides, and like minded riders!

Figured I should investigate some more! I stumbled upon this group. Looks great. I love the support for the Motorcycle Council of NSW.

Thank you to the creators and the active members. Hoepfully I'll meet some of you, some Sunday soon.

Ride safe.

Welcome Byron. Nice introduction. Indeed, we have some roads to discover (and rediscover). We have a few events coming up. This Sunday starts with a BBQ at Berowra Waters and ride through Spencer and Wisemans Ferry. On the 8th we have a social event ride to a drive in. A good overnight ride occurs in March to Neville, which is past Bathurst. If you can make it to that event, you won't be disappointed.

If you have any questions about riding or any events, just post up. All here would be happy to help.

Hey Byron! Welcome!

I'm a little late but I too am starting to discover these amazing rides - make a car feel completely disconnected from the world by comparison!

Great to have you Byron! We've been around for nearing 6 years, so the forum is full of tid-bits to know about, especially routes and ride days (which there are plenty coming). Feel free to post anytime - there's always someone around Smile
Hope to catch you out and about one fine Sunday morning soon!

Cheers
JD

Thanks for the warm welcomes!

The BBQ looks nice. I like the idea of a "drive" in movie, how funny!

I'll see if I can get permission to come out this Sunday.
