PostSubject: New to Bikes   Sun Jul 14 2013, 21:38

Hi,
Well I'm very new to bikes, on my Ls with a new BMW G659GS... I had my first ride on the weekend, riding from Procycles, St Peters down to Wollongong, and loved it. Very keen for more riding and of course learning as much as I can about riding and improving my skills.
Thanks
Carl

Well, that sounds a tad ominous, but great at the same time! I'll be out and about maybe doing some commuting this week which should be great! I'm just going through the forum pages at the moment and it looks pretty good!

Sorry if I came across the wrong way but I was referring to the above.

Not at all, it was a bit of a jibe... To learn I have to be on the road not sitting around... So if there is anyone in the Wollongong area up for a ride, I'm certainly keen!

Welcome Carl, I'm also in the Gong but don't get as often as I'd like. My neighbours' just got a Hayabusa so if the weather improves we may go for a short ride on the w/e. PM me if your free, you too Andrew.

Hi Everyone, I have been riding for lots of years but new to this new fangled forum stuff so I might lurk for a bit until I get the idea of posting (assuming what I am typing now actually works!). My idea was to connect with like minded riders who like working on their bikes in addition to riding. I'll now sit back and wait for a flame... :-)
