PostSubject: Greetings from Astro    Fri May 13 2011, 11:48

Hello all, call me Rob - or Astro or anything else that seems reasonable at the time. Finally got my act together and joined a group that actually rides. I attribute this to Christine Hayes who started inviting me to rides through FB.

Been riding 28 years. In that time I've had various bikes from Ducati (1), Honda (2), Suzuki (2) and Kawasaki (3). Current ride is a Black / Purple K4 GSX1300R Hayabusa. Despite the implications arising from my choice of ride, I've survived the 'stupid hurts' phase of my life and reached an age where I'm happy to toddle along in the slow group and enjoy the view.

I live in Ryde in Sydney, near Macquarie Uni. Run my own business which allows me at least one mid-week day off a week for a ride. Can normally be found at Jerry's Kitchen in Kulnura or somewhere on the road between there, Mt. White or Pie in the Sky. One of the original members of the No Life Club at the old Road Warriors Cafe.

Long term member of the Hayabusa Forum where I served for some time as an Admin.

On FB I'm listed as Bob Orlando. Feel free to friend me.

I look forward to meeting you all... and forgetting your names... then remembering them again... then.... Very Happy

WELCOME TO THE FORUM. Look forward to meeting you on a future ride.
I'm the same as you, I'm over the going fast stage & don't mind putting along @ a slower pace, hence why I bought a BMW r100 airhead.
