PostSubject: Belated Greetings   Sat Sep 25 2010, 00:23

Hi all,
I have been a member of this site for a little while now, but never actually got around to saying hi.
So here it is...HI.

I was told about this site by one of the guys playing in the band at my 40th. Thanks Dave!
It was at this party where my wife surprised me with a brand new Triumph Bonneville as a present.
It was about 5 years prior that I had to sell my old Yamaha XS, so I was pretty stoked to be able to travel on just two wheels again (The toyota just hasn't got it in it).

I was intending to join in on the Bathurst ride, but some other things came up that I couldn't avoid.
I DO look forward to joining in on some rides with you guys in the near future though.

Welcome to the forum.

I just have to ask what she expects for her birthday if that is what you got?

Hope to see you on a ride soon.

Dan

Thanks guys.
Yeah, I guess she'll have to do.
It did kinda make the gift i got her look a LITTLE paltry by comparison.
But I was able to take the bike for a run out through Wisemans a few weeks back with some friends. Feels really good to be riding again.

I still got sox n undies from my mum though...I think it's mandatory. Very Happy

heh...I probably should get her something I guess?!?
I think the only way I'd get her back on bike now would be to find her all time favourite...
(close your eyes if you're not a Triumph fan)
...a Tiger Cub.
Could be a bit tricky to track a good one down.

Welcome mate, always good to see another triumph rider! It'll be good to see someone hooning around on a Bonneville Very Happy

Just so you know, all triumph riders on this site must start forcing their opinion that Triumph is the best onto everything else Wink.

Kawahondayamasuzuki's suck! Triumph RULLZZ lol!

Yeah, I'm picking up on a definite vibe among the Triumph crowd on this site.
I've never been part of the elite before Laughing

I dont think I'm gonna join in & 'bash' on anyone elses bike choice though (but it's fun to watch - you guys are crazy).
I used to own a Yamy & my wife had a Honda...(so what do we know, right). bounce

Its all in good fun, I used to own a kwaka and there's every chance I'll own something other than a triumph in a few years. Bandwaggon jumping is always fun Very Happy

As buying this triumph has been the worse decision I have ever made in my entire life. I don't know what I was thinking when I brought it. I should have listened to Erica as she always knows best! But unfortunately I am stuck with it at the moment as the trade in and resale value is not very good. Bandwaggon jumping is always fun but I am looking forward to going back to Kawasaki Very Happy

FIXED!!!

Ahh, now I see.
So it's NOT the Triumph riders who started this.
