    to the forum Smile.

Please don't read too much into the green with envy comment. Since when can you take a Triumph rider seriously?

After all these are die hard Triumph riders who don't really know much better and will say anything to justify their poor choice in purchasing a Triumph Razz.

Because the sheer fact of the matter is. When riding around on a Triumph for too long you tend to loose perspective of reality and the truth that nothing compares to the awesomeness, power and sheer exhilaration of a Kawasaki!

    Razz

Triumph's Daytona 675 has continued its insatiable award-winning appetite with victory in both the Supertest and Masterbike multi-bike comparison tests for the second year running. Both of the independent tests, held on Spanish racetracks, saw the Daytona 675 reign supreme despite being unchanged since its launch in 2006, a true testament to the bike's inherent qualities.

Masterbike is an impartial assessment organised by Spanish magazine Motociclismo, and has quickly developed into the world's supreme sportsbike comparo. It is judged on by 16 international motorcycle magazines.

Critics readily acclaim the Daytona as the benchmark for modern sportsbikes. Winner of the 2009 Supertest 'King of Supersports' award for four years running, as well as MCN's Sportsbike of the Year, the Daytona 675 delivers a killer blow with its combination of outstanding handling and a storming three-cylinder engine, which even moved Japanese magazine Motorcyclist to award the Triumph its first ever perfect score in its monthly 'Ride with Edge' feature.

I have both a Kawasaki and a Triumph, when I compare riding the two the Triumph comes out waaaayyyy ontop.

    Case closed.

Gee you guys really must have an inferior complex issue about your Triumph's. Defending them the way you do. Never have I seen such passion. You need to be congratulated!

    You are so easily bitten......

I really do admire someone who defends something or someone tooth an nail. Even if they are not quite right Razz

Furthermore may I ask where the Triumph factory race team is?

Or are they still too busy making bras?

There are a few different factory backed race teams in a few different series across the world, including world supersport.

    A few quotes from wiki:
    Quote:

The ParkinGO Triumph BE1 Racing World Supersport team also had a good run in 2009, finishing fifth in the manufacturer's standings in the team's first year of competition.

    Quote:

0n the 5th of May 2008 Glen Richards scored the first win for a Triumph backed team since 2004 and scored three further wins on his way to the championship

Considering it is such a new model from a brand with very little racing experience (in recent times) I think thats pretty good. If you want to win races Triumph is not the way to go. . . yet.

Wait till they start catching up with the experience the jap 4 have and wait till they release a litre version of the daytona (I presume they will eventually) and things will change.

EDIT: Also, Cowasocky is good, I like it.
