Hey all... I joined a while back but haven't really had a chance to post yet.
Been riding around on my little Ninja for six months now and lovin' it.
Tagged along on the Sutton Forest ride the other week and it was a great experience - thanks to everyone involved!
See you all on some more rides soon.

A belated welcome then. See you on the Jenolan Caves run perhaps.

Hahaha, I like the dirty look
Yeah, a few mods - dark puig db screen; proton flushmounts; rear seat cowl; and an accessory socket.

G'day Anthony and everyone. Hey Ed when's the Jenolan ride on? Is there one this weekend at all?

As a riding returnee I've done a couple of runs up to Road Warrior cafe and out to Wiseman's and back down the OPH on the GS500F. Spent most of the time looking in my mirrors for bikes flying up behind. Got overtaken on a left hander on the inside by a ratbag on a big GSX-R just as I was about to cross to the apex. Didn't see him coming at all. It's an interesting experience on the OPH with the kamikazee big boys all over the road and flying past. It gets the juices flowing but the GS and my riding skills can't compete but it's been good fun getting out there so far. I'm already thinking of more cc's though...

[quote="StephenD"]Hey Ed when's the Jenolan ride on? Is there one this weekend at all?quote]

Mainly due to the double demerit weekend, nothing firm is planned for this weekend, but some members may do late notice runs. You'll find all rides in Group Rides and Track Days. Details of the caves run are:

Date - Sunday 11th April 2010
Meeting Point - McDonalds McGraths Hill
Meeting time - 8:30
Departure Time - 9:00

ATM, we have 17 riders.

After our 9:00 start at McGraths Hill we will follow the Bells Line of Road, turning left at the Darling Causeway. After reaching the Great Western Highway we turn right, then left at Jenolan Caves Road and then to Oberon via Edith Road for lunch. After lunch continue on to Jenolan Caves and then return probably via Bells Line again or at your own choice.

How hard was it to install the accessory socket? Wouldn't mind one of these to be honest!

Took a bit of work because I wanted to do it the proper way with a fuse and relay - so it's only active when the key's "on".
