Hi All,

Firstly, thank you to Ed for the welcome message and my friend Guy for letting me know of this great forum.

My name is Chris and I have a CBR125R...
Yes, you have read correctly, I am a guy and ride a 125... please go easy on me

I am still on my Ls and going for my Ps soon.
So I am still a beginner and there's heaps of room for improvement

What else can I say... I love riding!

Safe riding everyone!

Chris

Hi Chris and welcome to the forum, 125, 600, 1000 it dosn't matter how big your bike is or how fast you ride, we always wait for the slower riders. just remember, it's not the size of the dog in the fight that counts.

welcome Chris 125

learning to ride on a tiny gutless bike is fine cos its easier to learn on/safer and
you save extra $$$ for when you upgrade. a big-banger R1 maybe...?

Hey Guy, sorry I am busy on Sunday so won't be able to join the ride. Got a wedding to go to... yes, a wedding on a Sunday... Sad

I think I'll pass on changing the exhaust bro, it's just not worth it for my bike. I'll keep my 125 for another year or two before upgrading (gotta start saving up)...

Love to own a CBR600RR matey. Though the seat height on your CBR600RR is 820mm, mine is 776mm and is just about right for me. I've thought about lowering brackets but that wouldn't have much ground clearance afterwards (i think)... scared of scratching the bottom with speed humps.

The bike I have been looking at is the GSX650F which is learner legal with seat height 770mm! But once again, upgrading will be later down the track... right now, I can only dream... :p

Welcome to the forum Chris. I started riding with these guys when I was still on my L's. They are a superb bunch of folks and they don't leave you behind or make you feel inadequate at all. You are most welcome on any ride. Shame you're going to miss my birthday ride as we will be doing Macquarie Pass on the way back. Hope to see you on a ride soon.
