PostSubject: hey hey. new and standing on the soap box   Fri Sep 04 2009, 21:30

Hey, how's it goin'?

I'm Nuala (pronounced; nool-la) i ride an fzx 250 zeal. soon to have more aggressive handle bars because my current ones are bent and make me sit upright. And I'm going for my red P's on the 28th.
I'm the daughter of 63special (Lisa)....

I played skirmish with a couple of the members a month or 2 back.

and as for my sense of humor.. sorry if this offends anyone in advance:

How many men does it take to open a beer?
None, it should already be open when she brings it to you.

Hope that got a few laughs.

Now, I have a couple questions.

One. if a scooter parks me in ( motorbike street parking) and I can't actually get on my bike properly, do I have the right to pick it up and move it?

Two. I have a cb250N and it's a piece of junk except that it has aftermarket ducati mufflers on it and sounds freakin awesome. What's the most profitable way to get rid of it?

And apologies if i should have posted those questions in another area.

Thankie ^_^

Welcome Nuala. You have a great mum.

If I was parked in by a scooter, yes, I would move it. Do I have the right. No idea.

Take some pics of the 250 and post them up at NSWR first. You never know, it may suit someone.

Hope to catch you on a ride soon.

Ed

Welcome Nuala

To answer Q1

If it happened to me and i was able to move the offending beast yes by all means.
Best bet is to flash your eyelids at some hefty guys and get them to move it to a metered zone so the owner gets a ticket.
Some people are asses.

Q2
Give it a good clean in the obvious places like chain. I use WD40 on a rag to wipe over plastics and old faded paint on the engine. Makes it look all shiney. Care to keep off the tyres.

Ty or Tyler seem to have a knack for making them look tidy.

Welcome nuala;
Go right a head and move the bike but be ready for a quick getaway some people feel funny when their bike is moved Twisted Evil .
And as for selling try a ad here or sell private as you usually get more unless the dealer can get you a better trade in for the new bike.
I sold my old Honda spada VT 250 for $1000 on ebay with 300,000 on the clock and thrown in tank bag, ventura rack and bag, bike cover and zena alarm disc lock also the bike was wired up for mail call gps system due to doing some motorcycle courier work for a short time.

I don't sing. mostly. except when I'm drunk, and even then I'll only death growl. Embarassed but if other people are singing I'll happily join in.
