PostSubject: New member having a mid life crisis   Tue Jul 21 2009, 19:56

G'Day just found the NSW Riders Forum through Samsico on ASB
and had to join up. cheers

I live near Penrith NSW and have been living here since 1971 it is a great area to ride with the Blue mountains just up the road and the Putty road not to far away.

I have a 1989/90 GSXR 1100 that is basically stock and i intend to keep it that way.
I plan to restore her to factory condition and just enjoy riding
I work in the Security Industry as an electronic security installer and have done so for about 16 years
I bought the GSXR as part of a mid life crisis acording to the missus but i just wanted to get back on the road on a bike that i have liked since it came out.

My first wife didnt want me getting a GSXR back then because our daughter was to young and she could still remember the trips to the hospital after i parted company with my water bottle (GT 750K)
So i got away from her and finally got my bike now the first wife thinks it is great that i am riding again GO FIGURE. confused

So far i am really enjoying my mid life crisi and would recomend it to all lol!

Max, please update your profile. It's showing you as 54. That can't be right.

All this talk reminds me of an adage I have recently taken a very fond liking to...

Surely mid life is the best time for a crisis? You have had plenty of time to prepare, and lots of time after to deal with it lol!
